With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of America Hinojosa, age 85, of Bastrop, Texas, on March 10, 2026. America was born in Falfurrias, Texas to Jesus and Josepha Chavera on December 11, 1940.
A visitation with family and friends will be held on Thursday, March 19, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Bastrop Providence Funeral Home. A funeral service to celebrate her life will be held the following day, Friday, March 20, 2026, at the funeral home beginning at 11:00 a.m. America will be laid to rest at Fairview Cemetery.
