Christopher Kyle Bade of Bastrop, Texas, passed away on October 14, 2025, in Bastrop, Texas and born on March 28, 1990, in Brackenridge Hospital, Austin Texas.
Christopher is preceded in death by his father, William “Bill” Edward Bade, passed away in August of 2009, and grandparents Herman “Buddy” Bade, passed in 2007, and Betty Troutt Bade, passed in 2008 of La Grange, Texas. In addition to his infant children; Sarah Lawrence Bade, passed November 12, 2017 and Lucas Thomas Bade, passed July 9, 2023.
Christopher is survived by his wife, Lindsey Michelle Bade of Elgin, Texas and son William David Bade, age six. His siblings, Ross Bade of Katy, Texas, and Courtney Bade Rindgen of Pennsylvania; his stepfather, Jeff Schlichting and mother, Katherine Berwick who reside in Manor, Texas; Uncle Brian and Aunt Mary Berwick of Austin, Texas, Aunts Julia Berwick, and Elizabeth Berwick, of New York City, Uncle Thomas (Bart) Bade & Cathy Bade, and Uncle Bob Bade of Leakey, Texas, Aunt Carol (Coco) Bade of Buda, Texas, Aunt Barbara Bade of Katy, Texas; cousins, Travis Bade, Amy Bade, and Maxwell Bade of Austin, Texas, Sarah Bade Levering of Buda, Texas, Alexa Bell of Charlottesville, Virginia, Rebecca Bell of Washington DC, and Bettina Bell of Delray Beach, Florida.
Christopher was a graduate of McCallum High School in Austin, Texas, He then attained a degree in welding. He was an Iron Worker by profession; however, he also worked in housing construction and larger building projects with General Erector.
Christopher was a very generous and warm person. He had a spiritual focus to life, and he was always eager to help others in any way he could. He was articulate and philosophical in his communications with others. He loved all kinds of woodworking and electronics for hobbies. He particularly enjoyed refurbishing and upgrading motorized scooters and hoverboards. For recreation he enjoyed hover-boarding with his son William. Additionally, for recreation he was a kayaking enthusiast.
A Memorial Service titled as “Spiritual: Celebration of Life” will be held at a family member's home in Buda, Texas on Saturday, November 15, 2025, from 1 to 5 pm
