Mrs. Cindy Kay Pittman Parker, age 60, Passed away peacefully in her home, surrounded by her family, on July 9th, 2025.
She was born to Martin Pittman and Frederica Ware on May 28th, 1965, in Corpus Christi, Texas.
Cindy attended high school in both George West and Gregory-Portland, Texas. She went on to attend Southwest Texas State University. This is where she met Lee Parker, who late one night, jumped in the bed of her truck… as the story goes. She majored in Criminal Justice with a minor in Psychology. After graduation, Cindy perused her career as a Specialized Officer for female substance abusers with children at Travis County Supervision and Corrections Department.
After college graduation, Cindy married Lee Parker on February 11th, 1989, in San Marcos, Texas at Grace Lutheran Church.
Cindy and Lee went on to raise two daughters and have three grandchildren. For many years, Cindy volunteered on the board of Bastrop Little League, in which both of her daughters played. She drove kids all over the state for games and tournaments as “Team Mom." After the kids left home, Cindy found her love of gardening and was always looking her next “project," either dumpster diving or by going to thrift stores and estate sales. Cindy was an awesome cook and was famous for her homemade salsa & pickles. Cindy will be remembered for her love & loyalty to the Dallas Cowboys, her wonderfully sarcastic sense of humor and contagious laugh.
Cindy is survived by her loving husband of 36 years, Lee Parker; daughters, Morgan King (husband, Mason King), and Madison Parker; grandchildren, Marlee Jo King, Noah Allen King, and August Ambrose Harper; sister, Christy Wallace and nephew, Chase Wallace; sister-in-law, Wendy Parker; brother-in-law, Austin McDonald; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
