Dorothy “Dottie” Ann Burnham, age 80, passed away peacefully at home in Bastrop, Texas, on November 3, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
Born on March 12, 1945, in Lexington, Texas, Dottie dedicated her life to caring for her home and family. A devoted wife and loving mother of three, she created a warm and steady home where love was shown through quiet acts of kindness, thoughtful guidance, and her ever-present support. Her life was a testament to the simple but profound beauty of devotion - loving fully, giving generously, and showing up for the people she loved.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Jack, as well as her mother and grandmother. The love and lessons they shared continued to guide her throughout her life.
Dottie is survived by her sons, Brian, Barnaby, and Brad, who will forever carry her memory in their hearts. She is also remembered by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family and many dear friends who were touched by her warmth gentleness, and grace.
Her legacy of love, strength, and quiet compassion will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Visitation with family and friends will be held on November 14, 2025 from 6:00PM-8:00PM at Bastrop Providence Funeral Home.
A funeral service to celebrate the life she lived will be held on November 15, 2025 at 12:30pm at Bastrop Providence Funeral Home. Dorothy will be laid to rest at 3:00pm at Germania Cemetery in Lexington, Texas.
Pallbearers will be Barnaby Burnham, Ken Givens, Jody Martinez, Marty Mercer, Remi Richard, Johnny Whitehead.
