Doyle Ray Sullivent, age 56, of Rosanky, Texas, passed away on June 21st, 2025 while at home.
Doyle was born in Austin, Texas to Jimmie Doyle Sullivent and Paulette Mohler (Sullivent) Schubert on September 5th, 1968. He graduated from Jack C. Hays High School in 1987 and was a proud member of the Rebel Football Team. He was also a proud father to his “Peanut”, Carla Ilene Sullivent who was born in 2003.
Doyle worked many jobs in his younger years, but finally found his calling, and his home, with his First Responder family. He ended his distinguished career as a Paramedic with Gonzales County Emergency Services. Doyle was a certified Handgun Instructor and spent many hours on the gun range with his father teaching and instructing others. He was also a member of the local Oddfellows and Rebekah’s Organization and regularly volunteered his time and efforts to others in need in the community. If someone needed a hand, Doyle was there! His last parting line whenever he left a gathering of any kind, or even ending a phone conversation was, “If I can do anything for you, just let me know.”
Doyle was a huge UT fan and enjoyed watching sports of all kinds, but especially football, with his friends and family. He and his brother Kevin regularly watched games together whenever they could and enjoyed a nice, chilled adult beverage, (all the while giving as much hell as they could to Kevin’s wife Michelle for being an Aggie!)
He is survived by his daughter Carla Sullivent, his brother Kevin Sullivent (Michelle), Step-Sisters Kim Frerich (Lynn), Tiffany Green (John) and Stefanie Wilhelm (Jason), and many nieces and nephews, Uncles, Aunts and Cousins. He loved them all and always did his best to keep in touch with everyone.
Doyle is preceded in death by his father, Jimmie Sullivent, mother and father Paulette and James Schubert, Grandparents J.D. and Dell Sullivent, and Grandparents Carl and Ilene Mohler.
