Elisabeth was born on June 16, 1941 in Germany to Lorenz and Anna (Oswald) Rickert. She was a residence of Bastrop from 2010 until her passing.

She is preceded in death by her husband.

Elisabeth is survived by her sons, Carl A. Patterson and David G. Patterson, their families, grandchildren, and most recently, a great-grandchild.
