Frank Raymond Lundholm, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away on January 8, 2026, in Bastrop, Texas, at the age of 90. Born on October 22, 1935, in Washington, D.C., Frank grew up Washington, D.C. and Suitland, Maryland. His commitment to service began with his education, having graduated from the U.S. Senate Page School. 

Frank dedicated his entire professional career to public service, primarily working in the U.S. Senate. He worked in the office of Senator Lyndon Baines Johnson before moving to the Office of Senate Printing and Document Services. As a pressman, Frank made significant contributions in his role, ultimately retiring at the age of 49 as day supervisor, having spent 36 years at the Senate.

Frank served in the U.S. Army from 1961 to 1963 at Fort Monroe, Virginia during the Cuban Missile Crisis. This period remained one of his proudest accomplishments throughout his life, reflecting his unwavering dedication to his country.

For 61 years, Frank and his beloved wife, Loretta Lundholm (née Teske), built a life together in Forestville, Maryland. Two months prior to his passing, the couple relocated to Bastrop, Texas, to live near their daughter.

Frank was a father to three children: Frank Lundholm, Dennis Lundholm, and Sherry Dunbar (née Lundholm). His family continued to grow with the arrival of grandchildren Michael Lundholm, Keith Lundholm, Daniel Lundholm, and Ashton Farmer (née Lundholm), along with ten cherished great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Following his retirement, Frank turned his passion for cars into a hobby that brought him immense joy. He spent countless hours buying and working on classic cars, often showcasing his favorites at local Maryland car shows. His enthusiasm for automobiles was a reflection of his energetic spirit and an integral part of his identity.

Frank Raymond Lundholm leaves behind a legacy of love, dedication, and pride in both his family and his service. His memory will endure in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him.
