Bastrop

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Joshua Allen Bramblett, age 33, of Bastrop, Texas. Joshua was born in Austin, Texas, August 6,1991, to Tamara Bramblett Moran. He attended Del Valle High School.

Josh excelled as a welder and carpenter. Although he had no formal training, he learned his trade by hands on effort and mentorship. He started his own company, Bastrop Custom Welding, where Josh created masterpiece barbeque pits. His work was meticulous and creative. He was honored to be commissioned to restore a historic home in Smithville. Josh took great pride in his work there. At one point in his young life, Josh worked in the automotive industry. After a short period of time in the make-ready department, he was given the opportunity to be the manager of that department. From there he progressed to sales. His final job was with Presidio Welding.

Josh loved spending time with his children. He was so proud to share his love of wrestling with his stepdaughter, Mikayla and his son, Adam. He drove for hours to take them to matches. He shared his expertise in video games with his son, and he so enjoyed cuddling his daughter Lyanna, tickling and playing with her. He enjoyed being out in nature. He loved being on the water fishing and finding special rocks. He relished working on cars and vacations with his family.

Josh is survived by his significant other, Rosa Morgan, his son, Adam, daughter Lyanna, and stepdaughters, Mya and Mikayla Ruiz, mother Tamara Moran and stepfather David Moran, stepbrother and stepsister Dustin and Jessica, Grandmother Karen Sue O'Bryan, Uncle Jeff O'Bryan, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation will be held Sunday, May 4, 2025 from 12-2 pm at Bastrop Providence Funeral Home, 2079 Hwy 71 East, Bastrop, TX 78602.
