Linda Darlene Preston

Linda Darlene Preston, born on August 14, 1949, of Thrall, Texas, passed away peacefully on December 7, 2025. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and sister, whose warm spirit and gentle nature touched the lives of all who knew her.

Linda is survived by her daughters, Dr. Lori Schneider and Tammy Wright, along with her husband Steve Wright, and their children, Michael, Samuel, Katie, Justin, and Wesley, who brought her immense joy as a grandmother. She also leaves behind her son Cory Schneider and his husband Randy Brent, and Linda's brother, Robert Preston and his wife Carolyn. Her family members remember her dearly and the mark she left on their hearts.

Throughout her life, Linda possessed a remarkable passion for puzzles and books, finding joy and solace in the stories they unfolded. It was a tenacity for life that shaped her personality and cultivated her unique view of the world.

She was preceded in death by her sons, Aaron Schneider and Bradley Schneider, losses that profoundly affected her; her mother Ruth and father Richard; and grandmother Emma Petzoltd and grandfather Adolph Carl; and her brother Charles. Despite her grief, Linda remained a pillar of resilience even in the face of adversity.

Linda Darlene Preston will be remembered for her spirit, the relationships she birthed, and the legacy of love she created within her family. She touched the lives of many and her memory will continue to shine brightly in their hearts.
