Mary Louise Davidson

Mary Davidson, age 86, of Smithville, Texas, passed away on February 18, 2026. Mary was born in East Grand Forks, Minnesota on October 8, 1939 to Barry Davis and Eliza Demers.

Mary married Ron Davidson on September 12, 1959 and together they had six children, 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Mary loved spending time with her family. She also enjoyed gardening, bird watching and crafts. Mary, along with her husband, owned and operated Discount Feeds and Supplies in Bastrop, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her husband, mom and dad, her children, Mary Beth Stach, Barbra Phillips and Gary Davidson. She will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Donald Williams and Robert Davidson; her daughter, Peggy Schutz; and all her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A visitation with family and friends will be held on Monday, February 23, 2026 at Bastrop Providence Funeral Home beginning at 10:00 a.m. Funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. Mary will then be laid to rest at Young School House Cemetery next to her husband.
