Mary Jenell Eller

Mary “Tootsie” Eller, 83 of Bastrop, passed away on May 25, 2025 in her home surrounded by family.

Mary was born in Austin, TX to William and Dollie King on July 29, 1941. At the age of 24, she met and married her husband of 59 years, Orville Eller. She worked many types of jobs over the years; never scared of hard work or getting dirty. Her and her husband went on to have 2 sons, built their own home, and created a life together. Being family oriented, they loved traveling, camping, hunting, and fishing together. As the family grew that expanded to family functions, holiday get togethers, and cooking for everyone. She was very religious and made sure to attend church. She was also a lover of garage sales, bargain shopping, spending time with friends & family, and an occasional casino trip with the ladies.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents: William and Dorthy King; siblings: Billy King, Dorothy McMillin, Joe King, Richard King, Bobby King, Virginia Hamby, Polly Rasco, David King, Darlene King, Marlene King; brother-in-law: Geno Macchia; and sister-in-law: Betty King.

Mary is survived by her husband: Orville Eller; sons: Orville Eller Jr. (Leann) & Frank Eller; grandchildren: 4 grandsons, 5 granddaughters, 8 great grandsons, 6 great granddaughters; siblings: Virgil King (Elaine), Dickie King (Barbara), Linda Macchia; sister-in-laws: Patsy, Barbara, and Annette; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Graveside services & burial will be held 9:00am on July 1, 2025 at Oak Hill Cemetery and officiated by Rev Freddy Jones & Rev Tanya Betak. Pallbearers will be: Orville Eller Jr., Frank Eller, Erick Johns, Cody Eller, Cory Eller, and Cole Eller.

Following burial, we ask everyone to join the family at End Tyme Fellowship for food and sharing in the remembrance of her life.
